Congratulations to all PMBA Junior Representative players selected for the Spalding Waratah Northern Junior League for 2024. 

Under 12 teams will be confirmed prior to the close of nominations in December. 

Dates to Note:

• November 30 - Instalment 1 due to confirm place ($125) 
• December 8,9,10 - Bronwyn Vigors Pacific Classic in Coffs Harbour 
• February 4 - Tentative booking PMBA Rep Induction Camp 
• February 15 - Instalment 2 due ($350)
• April 15 - Instalment 3 due ($350)

Rep Fees for 2024

The Rep fees for the 2024 season have been set at $825 and an initial instalment of $125 is required to secure an athlete’s position within their respective team, which will be due on 30th November, 2023 - payment link will be emailed to families at a later date.

Following the initial payment of rep fees, further instalments will be payable as follows:

- $350 due on 15th February, 2024
- $350 due on 15th April, 2024

Training levy

A “training levy” has been factored into the rep fees in 2024 and will cover one training session per week when training for the NEJL season commences in February, 2024. Dependent upon actual court hire fees, an additional levy may be required to be raised and this will be confirmed if necessary.

The Westport Athlete Support Program (WASP)

Through the generous support of The Westport Club, PMBA also offers a fee assistance program for athletes selected to the Representative Program. Families who would benefit from financial support are encouraged to apply by emailing finance@portmacquariebasketball.com.au in the first instance for further information. All enquires in relation to WASP assistance will be treated with the strictest of confidence.

Applications should be submitted prior to 30th November, 2023.

PMBA does not want financial distress to prevent any players participation in the Representative Program and therefore we would encourage families to reach out to their coach or the rep delegate to discuss opportunities.
