Basketball is a lifelong sport and a great family activity. There's a place for everyone at Port Macquarie Basketball.

Many PMBA families enjoy participating together as players or coaches to score table and committee volunteers. It's a great way to give back to the community and support a healthy lifestyle. 

Coach

Coaching opportunities are available for parent coaches at the domestic comp level to representative team coaches.

If you've never coached before or haven't played in a while, there's a place for you. Coaching courses are available, and our veteran coaching staff is here to help you.

Coaching can start at any age, and we invite you to become a coach. 

Score Table

It's the best seat in the house! Parent volunteers are needed at every game to run the scoreboard.

We now use the Courtside tablets that make scoring easy, even if you don't have previous basketball experience. Someone is always available to get you started. 

Committee Member

Our committees do the day-to-day work. From the domestic competition committee to the development committee, this is how our programs and competitions come to life.

Without the efforts of individual volunteers, PMBA wouldn't be what it is today. This is a great place to offer your skills or learn a new skill. 

Team Manager  

Get involved as a team manager for our domestic competitions. Team managers communicate with players, parents and coaches and help during games as needed. It's a great way to be involved and support your team. 

PMBA Board

The PMBA Board is responsible for the organisational functions of the association. As a board member, you'll be involved in the strategic vision and execution of promoting and growing a strong community sporting organisation.

PMBA started in 1965. As our community grows and the popularity of basketball grows throughout Australia, board governance is an important role.
