Port Macquarie Basketball Association (PMBA)

Port Macquarie Basketball Association (PMBA) has been home to basketballers since 1967.
We run year-round competitions and development programs for all ages - from preschoolers to adults. Whether you're a player, coach, or referee, PMBA offers training and pathways to help grow your game.

Our Summer and Winter competitions at the Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium mean there is a game  going all year round, while our Port Macquarie Dolphins junior teams compete in in Under12s to Under18s between March and July. The senior men’s and women’s teams proudly represent the Dolphins in the Basketball NSW Waratah Senior League.

Our sessions will feature female coaches working directly with participants, helping girls learn the game in an encouraging, welcoming and supportive environment. Basketball NSW's wider I AM A GIRL initiative also aims to create more opportunities for females throughout basketball, including playing, coaching, refereeing and leadership. We'll take care of the basketballs and provide healthy snacks and water for participants during the program. Most importantly, come ready to have some fun and give it a go.
