Senior Representative Dolphins 2026

PORT DOLPHINS – WARATAH LEAGUE PROGRAM

OVERVIEW

The Port Macquarie Basketball Association (PMBA) continues to strengthen its position within the Basketball NSW Waratah League through the Port Dolphins program.

Across recent seasons, the Dolphins have established themselves as a competitive and consistent presence in the league, highlighted by a Minor Premiership, multiple All Star 5 selections, and some of the strongest crowd support across the competition.

The return of the Senior Women’s program in 2024 marked a significant step forward in aligning the pathway across the association and strengthening the overall depth of the program.

SEASON 2025

The 2025 season saw a further expansion of the program, with PMBA introducing a Youth Men’s team to formally bridge the gap between junior representative and senior competition.

On court, both Senior Men and Women qualified for finals, with the Men advancing to the post-season for a third consecutive year — reinforcing the consistency and competitiveness of the program.

SEASON 2026

In 2026, PMBA will again field three Waratah League teams:

• Senior Men
• Senior Women
• Youth Men

This structure continues to underpin a clear and sustainable pathway for player development, while maintaining a strong focus on performance, standards, and program growth.

HOME GAMES

The 2026 season will feature a full schedule of home fixtures across Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium (PMIS) and PCYC Port Macquarie, including multiple double and triple header events.

These game days provide a platform to showcase the program, engage the local basketball community, and deliver a strong home-court environment across all three teams.
